Ballard Spahr's Matthew McClure Elected VP of Central Philadelphia Development Corp.

Matthew McClure, an accomplished real estate attorney who serves as leader of Ballard Spahr’s Zoning and Land Use Team, has been elected Vice President of the Central Philadelphia Development Corporation (CPDC).

As CPDC Vice President, Matt plays a central role in overseeing the organization’s programs and activities. CPDC works closely with Philadelphia’s Center City District to enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of Center City through a variety of initiatives. CPDC’s key activities include urban planning and advocacy, economic development, public space improvements, public policy research and reports, and community engagement.

Matt is a partner in Ballard Spahr’s Real Estate Department and a member of the firm's Elected Board. He counsels developers, nonprofits, and universities on a full range of real estate matters. Matt’s practice heavily emphasizes development, land use, zoning, and historic preservation matters. He has represented developer and institutional clients in significant urban redevelopment efforts, with high-profile historic preservation issues, and in successful land use appellate matters.
